Many adopt a photojournalistic style, but they are really just wedding photographers.

I am a professional documentary photojournalist.

Although I loved the people I met on my travels while being a photojournalist, I was usually there because of a war or some other catastrophe. I love photographing weddings because it is a happy occasion, no one shoots at me and Unicef is not the caterer. If I can handle being between warring cultures, I can definitely handle your families.

I practice tactful assertiveness and I believe in letting you enjoy your day. Even my posed shots tend to have an air of spontaneity about them. I am very self sufficient and can get most of what I need without interfering with your enjoyment of the day and the people around you. I prefer the quiet moments between people rather than the staged portrait. I try to remain as unobtrusive as possible, but sometimes I have to stand on a chair or lay on the floor to get a great shot. I work nationwide and I like to travel, so don’t hesitate to take me with you.
