I am a professional documentary photojournalist.
Although I loved the people I met on my travels while being a photojournalist, I was usually there because of a war or some other catastrophe. I love photographing weddings because it is a happy occasion, no one shoots at me and Unicef is not the caterer. If I can handle being between warring cultures, I can definitely handle your families.
I believe in letting you enjoy your day and even my posed shots tend to have an air of
spontaneity
about them. I wander around, try not to use an assistant and prefer the quiet moments between people rather than the staged portrait. I try to remain as unobtrusive as possible, but sometimes I have to stand on a chair or lay on the floor to get a great shot.
I work nationwide and I like to travel. Depending on the location of your wedding, I can frequently absorb my travel costs. I look forward to hearing from you.
